Damn, hate to but I have to echo the previous reviews regarding the prices and the new service. This plate was tasty but not worth $32. And I think I saw cheese curd appetizers for $15? Really? We’ve been coming in here for years. Gaskins has always been a part of our regular rotation eating out. The prices are just way too high now. That said, unless something changes we’ll be less inclined to visit again. Also, I always liked ordering at the counter. Consider going back to that model. I watched a mother and her kids come in and subsequently leave. Appeared to be lack of timely service. Edit: Fair enough response but the prices are still questionable.

5 stars for food (lobster roll & sliced brisket) and service - 4 overall because couldn’t order drinks thru app and currently not serving iced tea - a necessity with any BBQ place. Complementary ice cream too!

It was a little quiet and the pictures displayed out front is what brought my partner and I in and omg I’m so glad we took a chance. I got the Ghetto Lobster Roll with 19oz of meat, a side of sweet potato fries, a root beer and ice cream. While my partner got Pull Pork Grilled cheese, white cheddar Mac and cheese, Pepsi and ice cream. All of it came out to $39 + tip. Now it is pricey but we did get a lot of food and when we took a bite we both realized the price is WELL worth it. Omg the lobster roll was so juicy and the garlic butter *chefs kiss* I even took a bite of my partners food and it was so yummy. I swear this is gonna be my new happy spot. I’m still sitting at the restaurant finishing my meal as I write this. I just couldn’t wait to review.

Excited to have a place to eat lobster roll in Lakeland. Let’s start by the service 4 stars only because the cashier was friendly, not one smile not one greet and upon questions just felt she just rather be home that day. The lobster roll is a 10. The bread was buttered and warm, the lobster was cooked perfectly and received a good amount. The fries could be so much better they were regular fries, the sweet potato fries with marshmallows was ok, hubby had the pork sandwich and loved it. Another waiter came to offer us free ice cream and was a lot nicer than the cashier she kinda saved the day. I will be back for the lobster roll, hopefully cashier is having better day.

Me and my hubby decided to order takeout for Valentine's Day yesterday. I've been wanting good lobster and decided to order the lobster roll. My hubby gets home and it looks amazing, my mouth is literally watering! I go and put my meal together turn to my left and the whole plate falls on the floor! I just stood there dumbfounded staring at my Valentine's Day lobster on the floor. My amazing hubby immediately reordered and went to go get it. The girl, I think her name was Yashira according to our receipt, remembered my hubby and was so sad that my Valentine's Day dinner ended up on the floor. She went above and beyond to make it special, she gave me an extra side and an amazing coupon for my next visit. I literally cried when I saw the card and her hand written note. Never in my life have I experienced such impeccable customer service! The prices were very fair and the food was absolutely amazing. I will be back there many many times! She really has no idea how much that little gesture meant to me.. I definitely shed a couple tears. When they say it's a little things that make the biggest impact, boy they are right!
